Born in Chiba in 1960. After graduating from high school,  went to the United States alone and jumped into the world of architectural design. Recognizing the pride of Japanese people and the importance of Japanese culture from overseas life, to the world of tea ceremony.
 
After that, he established the Tsubaki Architectural Design Research Institute. Became a leader in tea room design in Japan.

ZEN-An 禅 庵 is an assembly tea room filled with fittings, tatami, rattan, Japanese paper and traditional craftsmanship in a suitcase.
Furthermore, the tea dress developed for this tea room space is a new style in which tea can be easily spotted as a
non-kimono, non-clothing, intermediate dress.
The theme is "tradition and innovation". Traditional craftsmanship and innovative ideas create a new culture.
From now on, various craftsmanship will be created through the Zen-An  and will travel abroad.
Not just an assembly tea room, it is ZEN-An that can convey traditional culture and Japanese spirituality.

 
The spirit of Zen  is unmovable, by the 庵 (An: means house)  can move anywhere.
Since its birth in 2017, ZEN-An 禅 庵 has been housed in a suitcase and has traveled around the world.
Although history and culture are different, in one point of "the heart", people are equal and the same body.
Across the border and across cultures, a new attempt to bring heart and heart through tea ceremony is ZEN-An 禅 庵 itself.
